Before moving to Hua Hin, Mr. Ian said that he has helped her parents in Buriram Province redeeming their house and land which was mortgaged with his own million Baht. He said that he also bought a land and gave money in the hope of building a new house for her parents. Then the couple has moved to Hua Hin. The wife has asked her husband to buy a house, piece of land and a car Toyota Fortune. Only for the car he has paid around one million baht. He has said that he has paid for all things including 4 rai of land with a big house and a small house built on. He said that in total he has spent 26 million Baht and all things he bought in his wife's name. He said that soon after, the wife drove him out of the house and has punched his nose. He had to stay in a hotel after that. Then Mr. Ian had asked his lawyer to sue his wife at the Prachuap Khirikhan Provincial Court.
Before the case was heard at the court, the Chief Judge of Prachuap Khirikhan Provincial Court Mr. Pralom Kashane has allowed the case to be heard at a compromise hearing. The compromise hearing was presided by Mr. Tuck Dechapanya, the President of Hua Hin District Cultural Council. The couple and their lawyers were invited into the compromise room and the case was preceded by Mr. Tuck Dechapanya.
Mr. Tuck Dechapanya has considered the petition of the defendant Miss Natjeeta S. who was Mr. Ian’s wife. In the compromising stage, Mr. Tuck Dechapanya spoke to the wife that if the allegations made by Mr Ian are true she should realize that she has done a great harm to him.
The evidences submitted by both parties appeared to indicate that Mr. Ian has actually paid for all the things. He has presented evidence from a bank. Nevertheless the Defendant refuted all allegations made by Mr Ian and said that the Plaintiff had falsely testified even though the Plaintiff had devoted everything for the Defendant during the past 5-6 years. The President preceded the compromise for 2 hours before the two parties agreed to compromise.
As a result of the compromise Miss Natjeeta will get a big house with 2 rai of piece of land and Mr. Ian will get the small house with 2 plots of land. After the compromise was reached the Chief Judge of Prachuap Khirikhan Provincial Court Mr. Pralom Kashane came to the compromise room and has congratulated both parties and has asked the court officer to write record of the testimony. Moreover, the Court’s appointment on March 10th 2008 was also canceled and every party was informed to follow the compromising principal in all cases.
