Despite the world recession Hua Hin City Municipality working hard to solve infrastructure problems and to improve public services in Hua Hin. Fortunately Hua Hin still maintains its uniqueness as the resort town, trusted by Thai and foreign tourists. Hua Hin Municipality wants improve holidays experience for all visitors. Traffic problem is one of the most important issues that must be solved as fast as possible. The location of Phetchkasem Road in parallel to railway line and beach at the heart of the city is the main reason for the traffic problem. Therefore, Hua Hin City Municipality has plans to widen roads and build more roads in parallel to railway line totaling 5.9 km. In addition municipality will widen the road along irrigation canal to two lanes from Dainosao Market to Cha Am District. Another project is one-way road at Khaotakiab Village starting from Vegas House, it will improve traffic flow. All mentioned projects are in budget planning stage and the work will start soon.
