On Saturday 09 August 2008 at 10.00 am Khun Chumpon Choke Sucharti, the leader of Villagers Scout Club has presided over the opening of a new club's building. The total expenditure on the building was 1.5mln and most of the moneys were donated by AbbotPra Pai Roch from Huaymongkol Temple thanks to a successful sale of Ong-jatukarms.
In attendance at the opening ceremony was Governor Khun Parnchai Borworn-Ratanapran, Vice Governor Pisit Soontrerat, Chief Judge of the Provincial Court Khun Supkit Boonlontuk, two Chief District Officers Khun Prasit Boonlikit Hua Hin and Khun Thawatchai Wisamon Bang Saparn Noi district, Lt.Pol General Nipon Siriwong, Commander of Border Police, Lt Pol General Somsak Kwaengsopa(retired) who is currently Director General of Villager Scout Club under HM the King project, Chief Pol Commander of Border Police Lt Pol General Nipon Siriwong, Chief of Police Commander Major Pol General Kosin Boonsang.
At the beginning of the ceremony nine Buddhist monks have prayed for about half hour and blessed all present. Then Khun Chumpon Choksuchartispoke about the new building project. Director General of Villager Scout Club Lt Police General Somsak Kwaengsopa said that he was very pleased that many of the older villagers scouts have participated in the opening ceremony. All scouts have shown unity and are very happy with the new Villager Scout Club. He then officially opened the new club.
