Last Sunday, Khun Aticha Rossuwand, a Director of TATof Nakorn Nayok, has invited me to make a trip to see the Kaeng-Hin-Perng waterfall. Kaeng-Hin-Perng originates from the waterway of Kao Yai National Park (Kao-Yai is a big mountain) close to Saparn-Hin village of Na-Dee District, Prajeenburi Province. Kaeng-Hin-Perng River flows into Prajeen River, which in turn flows into the Chao Phraya River.

Kaeng-Hin-Perng River is ideal for white water rafting trip in the rainy season. Once there tourists can enjoy the various habitats of the Kao-Yai Nation Park. They can hire inflatable rubber boat which is suitable for 8-10 persons. Kaeng-Hin-Perng river has many rapids and the persons paddling must be experienced in order to control the boat well. The white water rafting can be dangerous and tourist should follow the official advice available locally.

White water rafting is Thailand's newest and most exciting water sport. Nothing compares to the thrill of running fast moving rapids in a rubber raft and floating past cascading waterfalls deep in the jungle.

Khun Aticha Rosjasuwan, Director of TAT area 8 has shown me around the Kao-YaiNation Park and the Kaeng-Hin-Perng waterfall. Khun Aticha said that in May is the rainy season, so a lot of water will flow to the river and at that time the waterfall becomes large.
