On Saturday 29 November 2008 Phase II of Hua Hin Market Village has (3rd floor) has been open for business. The cost of Phase II expansion was 150 million baht. The shopping area on the 3rd floor as been designated as a Kids Zone and has been open by Managing Director of Hua Hin Market Village Khun Yanyong Kanha-Watana.

Khun Yanyong Kanha-Watana said that thanks to Phase II completion it is anticipated that next year 10mln customers will shop at Hua Hin Market Village. The shopping has established cooperation with Tesco Lotus, Home Pro, SB Furniture, Major Cineplex, Major Blow Hit & Karaoke and many smaller fashion retailers. Next year is planned completion of Phase III expansion.               

Before opening ceremony took place, management of Market Village has arranged “POM POM Junior Competition’. Competing for the Education Funds worth 20,000 baht were children age 5-10 split into 12 groups from 12 schools.

There was also supernaturalism show, it was fun and full of surprises. Next took place Fashion Show for  60 girls age  5-10. The girls created lovely fashion show for their parents and guest. The new Kids Zone has been visited by more than ten thousand visitors on the opening day.
