There is nothing mechanical or mass produced about the Pasta Factory! This great little restaurant stands out as one of the gems on the Hua Hin culinary scene for its good honest home cooked food and charming ambience.
Created by Hannes and Nut, the Pasta Factory is screened from Petchkasem Road by a regiment of bamboo poles that leave passers by intrigued as to what lies behind. The answer is a delightful garden restaurant that provides a tranquil and private setting for diners to enjoy Khun Nut’s cooking.
The classic appetizer, tomato and mozzarella salad comes nicely presented. The generous serving makes an excellent accompaniment to the bold and fruity house wine, a Romanian Cabernet Sauvignon, as does the bruscetta tricolore, toasted bread with pesto, tomatoes and cheese. Like the wine, all dishes at the Pasta Factory are sensibly priced.
The menu features an enticing range of dishes. The Thai green asparagus with melted parmesan and butter is plated with all the aplomb that this princely vegetable deserves. Pasta dishes obviously rank highly at the restaurant and include lasagna, spaghetti, fusilli, fettucine and penne, to name but a few and each is dressed up with a delicious sauce. Salads, soups and Thai dishes also feature on the well conceived menu.
The ‘finishing touches’ present temptation that is hard to resist in the form of crepe suzette, tiramisu with brandy and mascarpone, banana flambé and deep-fried fruits.
For a relaxing evening dinner in beautiful surroundings its worth clocking in at the Pasta Factory.
