Huai Sai Wildlife Breeding Centre is a small zoo operating under royally initiated conservation project. Huai Sai Wildlife Breeding Centre runs many animal conservation and breeding projects. At the Huai Sai Wildlife Breeding Centre variety of animals can be seen such as deer, barking deer, gibbons, bears, monkeys and porcupines, together with birds including pheasants, parakeets, eagles and emus.
As you enter into the park, the first thing you can see are various species of Deer including Brown Antlered Deer and Hog Deer.
There is a small shop on the left side of the car park where you can buy food for feeding the deer.Walking down a slight hill, the next area you come to is full of birds, some wandering around and some kept in cages. The most noticeable are the Peacocks which where putting on a show displaying their feathers. Other birds in this large area, included Hornbills, Parakeets, Brahminy Kites, Eagles, Kalij Pheasants and Golden Pheasants. The final section is the Monkey area. Here you can see Gibbons, Langurs and Macaques, either in cages or left to roam free on small islands built around water channels.
Huay Sai Wild Life Breeding Center is located in Sam Phraya about 15 km from the Cha Am intersection. There is a left fork to Phetkasem Road where you continue driving for 4 km to the entrance to Phetchaburi Agriculture College. There's also a shortcut to the bypass. The park is open daily from 08.00 - 16.30 pm. Admission is free.
