Overnight and trail at Sam Roi Yod |
This most exciting one night Adventure at Thailand's first Coastal National Park "The Three hundred peaks" (Sam Roi Yod) will keep you busy and on your feet for most of the journey, but still you will enjoy some lazy leisure moments at the beach ! This National Park is a small but fascinating area of Limestone Mountains, coves, beaches and islands. These fabulous marshy wetlands are home to a great variety of plants, birds and some endangered animals.
It is a wonderful and a very challenging place to explore. We will take you through a journey of wonders and discoveries, starting with a visit at a pineapple plantation. Then we will travel further on to the Khao Deang Kayak Station where a cheerful team will give you the basic instructions on how to handle the kayak. Then off we will be to an exciting kayaking ride on the open sea. Back to the Kayak Station we will be off to the National Park Head Quarter to spend time browsing the wonderful wetlands. We will then be heading at Bang-Pu fishing village, where you'll witness the Village's thriving fishing industry, preparing for the day's catch, from there we will take a 20 minutes ride on board of a long tail boat to this beautiful stretch of beach below the very famous Praya Nakhon Cave. We will then have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant by the sea. After lunch we will keep you busy for an hour or so, putting up our tents for the night and then when this little task is over you will have plenty of time to bathe and enjoy the sea. An exciting dinner will be served by the sea and a chill out evening is on the program.
Next day we will enjoy the serenity of the sea early morning and witness a most stunning sunrise over the sea. Then we will be having breakfast with the soothing sound of the waves, we will be packing up the camp and have you shape up for we will have you "sweating" this exciting part of this trip, you will be climbing up the 430 meters that it takes to reach the entrance of the Praya Nakhon Cave. Once inside, splendors are to be discovered such as stalagmites around the pavilion built by King Rama V. And we've yet got to go back down to the foot of the mountain! Once we'd reached the beach again we will be having lunch and after this you'll have plenty of time again to enjoy the sea and sun. Our journey will then come to an end and around 15:00 we'll be on our way "home"!
