There will be four wild card matches to be played in today's competition.

President of the Billiard Sports Association of Thailand (BSAT), Sindhu Pulsirivong presided over the press conference at the Imperial Queens Park hotel yesterday.

Four well known players competing are Wattana, Mark Allen from North Ireland, Hong Kong's Marco Fu and the Chinese rising star, Ding Jun Hui.

Allen will meet Nattapong Poomprueksa in the opening match at 10 am today. Marco Fu from Hong Kong who reached the semi-final in the World Championship will take on Nawin Hengsomboon and Ding Jun Hui will meet Nithiwat Kanjanasri.
