The 2007 Prachuap Khiri Khan Festival is scheduled April 1-9 at the City Hall and provincial park. Activities include:

April 1: Dog Day: A contest featuring dogs starting 8am at Prachuap Khiri Khan Kindergarten and Prachuap Long Beach Car Rally from Hua Hin's clock tower to Ban Krut.

April 2: Culture Day: It will feature cultural shows, a Thai village and the Jo Louis Puppet starting 5pm.

April 3: Red Cross Day: It will feature lotteries and fashion show.

April 4: Activities include a charity tee-off at the Majestic golf course in Hua Hin, and women's volleyball at Ao Prachuap Beach from 6pm.

April 5: Air Sports Day: Parachuting and skydiving using modern ultra light equipment.

April 6: Kite competition starting 4pm at Ao Manao.

April 7: Biking rally over a distance of 25 kilometres involving three-man teams starting 8am at the municipality office; call 089-837-7732 for more details.

2007 Prachuap Khiri Khan Triathlon Championship starting 6am at Ao Manao, Wing 5 Royal Thai Air Force, call 081-985-4433, 081-867-2754 for further information.

April 8: Hua Hin Marathon to be run over 21.1 and 10.55 kilometres and a fun run covering three kilometres; apply at the municipality office (032-532-480) or at the Hua Hin Preserve Club (032-536-536).

April 9: Elephant Polo at the provincial stadium in Prachuap Khiri Khan.
