On 3rd October 2009 at Khao Hin Lek Fai, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khirikhan, Mr. Jira Phongphaiboon, Hua Hin Mayor, has presided over the opening ceremony of the 100 trees for 100 years of Hua Hin event. In attendance were Hua Hin municipal council members, municipal clerk, and officers from Hua Hin Municipality members of local business. They have welcomed Ms. Eiumsri Boonhachairat, the representative from Nation Group Company and 30 car rally drivers.  

100 trees for 100 years of Hua Hin event was held by Hua Hin municipality and Nation Group to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Hua Hin and to promote tourist attractions in Hua Hin District.  At the end of the Bangkok - Hua Hin car rally participants together with municipal staff have planted Ked trees at Khao on Hin Lek Fai mount. The winner of the car rally received accommodation at Devana Dara Resort & Spa.
