The Bangkok - Hua Hin domestic route is operated by airline Solar Air. Solar Air's planes take off from Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport. The route is operated by Dornier228 19-seat twin engine propeller aircraft. The airline runs four flights a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sunday.

The plane leaves Don Mueang Airport at 4pm and arrives to Hua Hin at 4.30pm. The return plane is at 5pm and arrives to Bangkok at 5.30pm.

The new route is convenient for travellers wishing to visit Hua Hin and its surrounding areas of Cha-Am, Pranburi and Sam Roi Yot. The target groups are foreign holiday travelers, businesspersons, Thai travellers, and civil servants.
