Khun Rathapol said that he was very pleased that AIS kindly has donated 17 water thanks to the Huaymongkol Temple, for the monks and villager who come make merit. Khun Pichet Tonwathana said that it is a policy of AIS to help every community in Thailand, which be confronted with shortage of water. AIS try to help by donating water tanks for storage of water. Until now AIS has donated in total 7,155 water tanks. Each tank has capacity to hold 2,200 liters of water. AIS also provide base for water tanks. To the Northeast AIS has donated 2,713 water tanks, to the South 315 water tanks, to the North 391 water tanks, to the East 448 water tanks and to the Central Region 135 water tanks. AIS has also donated water tanks to Office of the Prime Minister, Royal Thai Army, Air Force, Navy and the an Under-Secretary of Ministry of Defense, in total 2,790 water tanks. Director General of AIS Khun Saran Paloprakarn said that this year is an auspicious yeas as Thais have celebrated HM the King 80th birthday anniversary. AIS have supported the water thanks campaign all over Thailand and any community which needs water thanks should contact AIS water tanks donation project.

On Thursday 28 February 2008, on behalf of AIS Company, Engineering Director Khun Pichet Tonwathana and Marketing Manager Khun Wachira Rojterawanitch have donated water tanks to Huaymongkol Temple in Hua Hin. At the donation ceremony was present on behalf Hua Hin Municipality Senior Khun Rathapol Nikrothanont, who is a director of donation.
