Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2009 will be organized during June 1st – August 31st 2009 by Tourism Authority of Thailand in the main tourism destinations such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Hua Hin, Pattaya and Samui. All major shopping centers visited by tourists will offer 10-80% discounts on shopping. This will be part of the Thailand the Shopping Paradise advertising campaign.This discount promotion will increase sales and flow of cash into tourist regions during this year tourism season. Around 190 shops, hotels, resorts, restaurants, souvenir shops and golf courses will join this promotion. After the official opening, dancers from Sasi Theatre have performed.

At the Center Court of Hua Hin Market Village Shopping Center, Mr. Panchai Bawonrattanapran, Prachuap Khirikhan Provincial Governor, presided over Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2009 Project. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Jira Phongphaiboon, the Mayor, Mr. Suwit Rianrungruang, Deputy Mayor, Mr. Wansadet Thawonsuk, Deputy Governor in domestic market of TAT who spoke about objectives of this project.
