Trip to Bang Klar District, Chachoengsao

Bang Klar DistrictDirector of TAT Part 8 Khun Benjawan  Sunet-worakul has invited  me for a  trip to go the see Bang Klar District during the mango season. I have also met  Chief District Officer of Bang Klar District Khun Choosak Treesarn. He said that he would like me to invite Hua Hin Thai and foreign residents to make a trip to Bang Klar District for Mango Festival.

The Mango Festival will take place during 26-30 March 2008. Visiting tourists will be able to try delicious mangos with sticky rice (nam-pla-varn) and buy OTOP product.  This region has also many historical places which can be visited at the same time.

Khun Benjawan Sunet-worakul said that in Bang Klar District there is Bang Pakong River, which is ideal for rafting and adventure holidays. Don’t forget to visit Bang Klar Pothi Temple. You will see many the Pipitrellus bats living at the temple during the summer. You can also look around Bang Pakong floating market. You will have numerous opportunities eat all types of mangos: kiew-sa waur, nam-dork-mai, Fa-lan, opk-rong mangoes.

Bang Klar Chief District Officer has explained how to come for the Mango Festival. From Bangkok take the road of Min-Buru - Bangna leading to a motorway which will lead you to road number 304 (Sha-sherng-shau – Kamin Buri Province). During my trip I have looked around Bang Klar District. It was very convenient to travel because the Chief District Officer Khun Choosak Treesarn and TAT Director took very good care of me. My favourite time was when I was able to pick up mango from the tree. They have told me that tourist can also pick up their own mango during the festival.
The Mango Festival is organized annually by the Agriculture Committee Club of Bang Klar District with support from TAT Part 8 and Bang Klar District. This year the festival will be held on 26-30 March  2008 all tourists are invited and will be looked after the TAT Part 8 staff and by the Chief District Officer.
