During the event, Phrakhru Vijtra Dhamma Vibhat, (an abbot) was invited to give a lecture about Dhamma for elderly persons in their daily life. At the end of the lecture Abbot has answered questions about Dhamma.
Mr. Jira Phongphaiboon, Hua Hin Mayor, said at the end that participants would apply what they had learnt from this project into their and their families daily life. Moreover the project would make them calm and peaceful that they would able teach Dhamma teaching to their family members and other people in the same community. At Dhamma Pavilion of Bussaya Banphot Temple, Hua Hin, Mr.Jiara Phongphaiboon, the Hua Hin Mayor, has presided over the opening ceremony of Buddhist teaching for elderly members of communities in Hua Hin municipal area. In attendance at the teaching event was Deputy Mayor Mr. Athikhun Bootying, municipal council members, deputy municipal clerk, officers from social welfare section and about 200 elderly persons dressed in white. 
All elderly persons are precious human who should take a rest when they reach their retirement age after working hard for their families and country. They have a lot of experience and are useful for the younger generations. This Dhamma teaching project was created for them in the hope of guiding them to become Buddhist disciples.
