The bus station for bus service to Chiang Mai and Korat and Sombat Tours office are located at Soi 96-98 on Petchakasem Road, about 3km south from Hua Hin center. During the opening ceremony Khun Sombat Shinkiat said that Hua Hin is expanding very fast and there is a need for a direct bus connection between Hua Hin and the North and Northeast. Until now people traveling in that direction have had to change bus 2 or 3 times. Some travelers were forced to stay in the hotel during transit. This new bus service is a great convenience for Thai and foreigner tourists. People using the new bus service will save money on direct tickets. Vice Under-Secretary of Ministry of Communications Khun Piyapan Jampasuth said that he is very pleased with the new bus service from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai and Korat provided by Sombat Tours. Passengers using the new bus service will save a lot of time required for travel to the North and Northeast. The new bus service is very convenient for everybody. Khun Piyapan and Khun Prasong, both have cut the ribbon in front of the Sombat Tours office. All guests were invited to have a dinner and to watch shows.
