During the opening ceremony Dr. Jamreon Sorpipat has explained that doctors from Chaophya Hospital would like to help Hua Hin residents and offer free health check up. Khun Prasit Boonlikit has thanked Chaophya Hospital doctors and nurses for comming to Hua Hin and offering a very valuable community service to Hua Hin residents free of charge. About 200 Hua Hin residents have had health check up. Chaophya Hospital is a leading private health care institution in Bangkok. It was incorporated in 1988 by a multidisciplinary team of physician specialists and health care institutions under the leadership of Dr. Kovit Patakayon. From its very inception, the hospital was conceived as a tertiary care general hospital to provide high quality healthcare by specialists to both the local and international patients and this has always been the guiding principle in its conduct and development.

On Wednesday 31 October 2007 Chaophya Hospital from Bangkok have organized Health Festival for Hua Hin residents at Hilton Hua Hin Hotel. The festival was organized jointly by a Chief District Officer Khun Prasit Boonlikit and Manging Director of Chaophya Hospital Dr. Jamreon Sorpipat.
