For the past two years thirteen customers from Mr Mario A. development have submitted complains to the Committee of Customers Protection against the developer, for not finalizing land registrations and providing the basic living facilities like water, electricity, etc. In addition two customers have accused him of defrauding them of 210,000 baht. As this was a criminal case, police from Hua Hin police station have investigated the case. Once a police report has been completed, the case is forwarded to the Prosecutor Division at Provincial Court of Prachuapkhirikhan. After to studying the case file of Mr. Mario A. the prosecutor has decided to file criminal charges against him. During the court hearing the Chief Judge has refused bail to Mr. Mario A. When previously Hua Hin police was dealing with complains against Mr. Mario A. they would invite him to a meeting in the police station and in the Provincial Court of Prachuapkhirikhan where he has signed in front of the police and the court that he will fulfill his obligations towards his customers but every time after these meetings he didn't fulfill his obligations. On the 20th of February 2008 the Court has refused bail to him. Mr. Mario A. is owner of several development projects and has a lot of problems with customers, construction companies, sub constructors, suppliers, etc. Many of them have put claims against him in the Court of Prachuapkhirikhan and the total amount of these claims is over one hundred million baht. This is not the only case against developer. In Hua Hin there are many housing development projects. On 20 February 2008 the Provincial Court of Prachuapkhirikhan during a hearing of a criminal case against Mr Mario A. has refused bail to him. Mr Mario A. is developer in Hua Hin and several customers have made complaints and two customers have accused him of defrauding them.
