Khun Nirat said that Hua Hin Municipality has modified its policy and wants the community representatives attend Hua Hin Assembly meetings. The idea is to decentralize government administration and give more decision making powers to communities. Members of communities will be able to influence Hua Hin Municipality policies and participate in planning of projects. There will be a closer cooperation between communities and government administration. Communities will be more self-reliant in line with the “sufficiency economy”. Hua Hin Municipality assembly meetings will take place soon. Hua Hin Municipality has divided communities into three parts: Hua Hin Kao-na, Plan-chum-chon Hua Hin and Lao-rak Hua Hin. Representatives from communities will receive training between August and November. Hua Hin Mayor Khun Sirapan Kamolpramoth said that he is very pleased that, our communities are very strong and supportive in preserving Thai culture, provision of training for other members, running health, environment, property and economic projects. Lord Mayor has stressed that Hua Hin is a tourism center and Hua Hin residents know how to adjust and support tourism projects. Tourism is very important for Hua Hin Districts as it gives income to Hua Hin residents. There are plans to improve Hua Hin's image as an international tourist destination.

On Friday 01 February 2008 at Ratchamongkol Technology University hall, Director of Public Health Khun Niran Nimitthavil has arranged a seminar to which he has invited representatives from 35 communities living in Hua Hin District. The aim of the meeting was to explain to community leaders how all the communities can live together in a harmony and how Hua Hin Municipality can provide support to them.
