At the beginning of the opening ceremony nine Buddhist monks did prayers and have blessed the new building. Vice Secretary-General of the King Khun Jittaporn Wacharothai and Governor of Hua Hin Electricity Department Khun Benjamart Kiatechokewiwat and local resident have made offerings of food for the Buddhist monks. Khun Apirak Luengtuwapraneet Director of the local Electricity Board Area 1 (south) from Phetchaburi Province spoke about history of the Hua Hin Electricity Department. Until now the local Electricity Department office was in a rented building at Nongkae Village close to Hua Hin. Recently the Province received budget to build the new we building. Now Hua Hin Electricity Department has eighty employees responsible for supplying electricity to Hua Hin and eight villages and generating monthly income of 98 million baht. Vice Secretary-General of the King Khun Jittaporn Wacharotha has presided over the opening ceremony. He has thanked everybody for coming. He was very please to meet Electricity Board staff. Hua Hin Electricity Department is very important as many businesses in Hua Hin relay on electricity. There are 10,189 electricity users in Hua Hin area and the running cost of the Hua Hin Electricity Department is 1,170 million baht per year. After his speech opening of the new building took place and all the guests were invited inside for a tour of the building.
