There was very interesting exchange of opinion at the seminar on how to protect Hua Hin environment. This will help the Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment make adjustments to Environment Act from 2547 (Thai calendar). The necessary changes will be carried by a working group lead by Dr. Suwaluk Satumanaspanthu who is very experienced environmentalist. He will be helped by project manager Khun Piset Senawong, training expert Khun Korbkul Samakki and Khun Oranoot Silpamanipan who will coordinator. Chief District Officer Khun Prasit Boonlikit has opened the seminar. He has expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for taking part in the seminar on Protecting Hua Hin Environment. Hua Hin is a famous worldwide tourist destination and in order to maintain its status it is essential to protect Hua Hin’s and surrounding provinces of Phetchaburi and Prachuapkhiruikhan environment. A lot of work will concentrate on the Hua Hin - Pranburi area and the 13 villages located there. Khun Piset Senawong has spoken about the background of this project and the criteria how to control the environment and prevent pollution as the villages are located along the bank, close to the beach where many resorts and hotels are located. Close by there is a factory supplying building materials.

On Monday 18 August 2008 in the early afternoon at Hin Nam Sai Suoy Hotel, the Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment has organized a Protection of Environment seminar. The seminar has concentrated on preserving unique Hua Hin environment and surrounding provinces of Phetchaburi & Prachuapkhirikhan.
