Chief Land Officer Khun Pakit Sirichareon has worked at Hua Hin Land Registry Office for about 30 years. He has started to work at the office as a clerk and through the years he has been promoted several times. Eventually in 2004 he has been promoted to Chief Land Officer. Khun Pakit is well known to Thai or foreigners; he is very nice and very polite to everyone who comes to the office with problems. He always has tried to help and explain any issues which were unclear. When his staff has arranged the farewell party, many people come to the party and have brought presents him. Vice Director General of Land Department Khun Boonchert Kithen had a speech at the farewell party and said that even though he had travel far from Bangkok he would never miss this party occasion. Khun Pakit is very honest and polite man. He has many good friends. Even though he has retired now he intends to live in Hua Hin with his family. Vice Director General has wished both Khun Pakit Sirichareon and Khun Weera Srithong peaceful retirement and a long life. Then the Chief Judge of the Supreme Court said that Khun Pakit is the best employee and can be example for other staff. He heard that many Hua Hin residents have a great respect for Khun Pakit’s work and are grateful for excellent support he has provided for customers coming to land office. Khun Pakit Sirichareon has thanked the guests for coming to the farewell party and for all the presents. He said that he has lived with his wife over 35 years in Hua Hin and he thinks this is the best place to live in Thailand.
