The expansion plan is a result of market research which indicates that Hua Hin Market Village can expect number of customers using Market Village to reach 10 million a year. The biggest groups of customers are Hua Hin residents, Thai and foreigner tourists. They are attracted to Hua Hin Market Village by Tesco Lotus, Homepro, SB furniture, Major Cinemaplex, Major Bowl Hit & Karaoke, by various brand-fashion shops, restaurants and food shops. Khun Yanyong Kanhawathana said, that the Phase 2 expansion was initially delayed because of the economic slowdown and decrease in customer's buying power. This now has been revised and there is enough optimism to justify the Phase 2 expansion which will cost 2000 million Baht and will allow Hua Hin Market Village to be divided into shopping zones at the same improving shopping experience for customers.
