On 02 August 2008 there was a ceremony to present the prize organized presided by Professor Monthon Chai-aroon from The Technology Ratchamonkol Ratanakosin University. During the ceremony On behalf of PM, the Provincial Governor Parnchai Borwornratanapran has presented “Honour Shield“to Khun Satesak Lathong, Managing Director of Building & Safety Department at Market Village Centre. This prize awarding ceremony has coincided with Safety Week at Hua Hin Market Village. There were many safety programs taking place, knowledge seminars, and demonstration of safety equipment. There was also competition for the best safety slogan and drawing.

Hua Hin Market Village has won Health and Safety prize for 2008 in the Thailand Trade Centre category. This prize has been awarded by Occupation Health and Environment Department. This is 9th time Hua Hin Market Village wins this prize.
