Recently I was invited to “Bai Nee Mee Kham Tob” Program broadcast on Modern 9 TV on 7 Jan. 2010, in the topic of “Operation in accordance with Good Governance” consisted of 5 projects as follows;
All projects that I have mentioned above, are the projects which I have promised to local communities. They are very important to communities’ development. As non-registered population is continuously increasing, so consumption of natural resources is on increase. On behalf of Hua Hin Municipality, I manage as best as I can the infrastructure system, waste removal and processing. Hua Hin residents deserve well-managed system dealing efficiently with waste problem, which affects global warming. Therefore I and my team have decided to implement the “Zero Waste” policy. The policy aims to process all waste in environmental-friendly way by separating waste into 2 types; solid and liquid waste. Solid waste can be separated into metal, paper and plastic which can be all reused, some plastic type that cannot be reused will be transformed into crude oil. Now Hua Hin residents and visitors create almost 100 tons of waste per day, consisted of plastic 20% (for crude oil) and liquid waste will be fermented with microorganism for butane used to generate electricity, the rest of fermented waste can be used as fertilizer, so there is no waste left after the mentioned process. However, Hua Hin Municipality needs your kind cooperation, I would like appeal to you all to help reduce global warming by separating waste into mentioned types and sell them at the places arranged by the municipality.
