The Interior Ministry has issued recently official order requesting local administrative organizations consider carefully all local projects over 3 million baht for the 3 year-development plan (2010 - 2012). The larger projects must not overlap other administrative areas. During the meeting, the provincial development plan committees have discussed all details of the large projects and looked if these projects are in line with guidelines issued by the Interior Ministry. These projects would be done using grant-in-aid, 3 projects for each district. Representatives of 7 local administrative organizations in Hua Hin District had presented and indicated reasons and needs of having large projects in their proposals. Hua Hin Municipality had asphalted concrete road development project at Soi 24/5 Kor. which was regarded as a large project, but decided not to present it as such a project because it has been anyway in the Hua Hin 3 year-development plan. Moreover, other local organizations had also presented 5 projects but only 3 project were selected;
These 3 projects will be then put in the project account for the next consideration of the provincial development plan committees. Vice Mayors of Hua Hin Mr. Suwit Rianrungruang, Ph.D. Rungroj Siluangsawat and local plan development committees (district section) have attended budget meeting at Naresdamri Auditorium, Hua Hin Municipal Office. In attendance was also Mr. Somsak Kiowkham, a member of Prachuap Khirikhan Provincial Administrative Organization Council, Mr. Suriya Talaynoi, Hua Hin District Local Officer and representatives from Hua Hin local administrative organizations.
