This was the second meeting regarding Hua Hin Museum project. The people running the museum project with the help of Khun Kwan-soung wrote already Hua Hin history. Many of the historical facts were not known to the majority present at the meeting. Everybody found the newly written history of Hua Hin very interesting. Lord Mayor Jira Pongpaibul has thanked Khun Kwan-soung for his advice and help with this project. He said that Khun Kwan-soung has been a sparkle which lit candle in a dark room. He has opened our eyes and has pointed us in the right direction. The project is half way only and more needs to be find and written about Hua Hin’s history. Many historical items have been collected already and are waiting to be put in the Hua Hin Museum. An appropriate building for museum will be selected soon. Thanks to the local residents’ effort Hua Hin history, culture and customs will be preserved for future generations.

On Monday 20October 2008 in the morning at Hua Hin Municipality Lord Mayor Jira Pongpaibul together with three vice mayors; Khun Atikhun Bootying, Khun Suwit Rienroongrueng and Dr. Roongroch Siluengsawatdi has invited representatives of 34 communities, members of Hua Hin Assembly and advisers for a meeting regarding Hua Hin Museum project. In attendance was present History and Cultural expert Khun Kwan-soung Atipoti .
