Vice governor said that there are many radio broadcasting stations in the province. The government has allowed to have a community radio. All the radio stations need to be familiar with broadcasting rules and the main radio stations needs to make sure that the broadcasted programme follows government regulations. Khun Arkom Jeensoonthorn said that another two meetings will take place, one at the Bangsaparn District and another meeting will be at Hua Hin District where Radio Community Club is located. The aim is to teach Radio Station owners how to broadcast radio programmes in line with government guidance. This will help eliminate possible problems. Personnel working at Radio stations will receive training and will have to take an exam at the Public Relation Department. Staff working at the radio stations need know how to clearly read. Antenna masts at Radio stations cannot be higher than 30 meters. Khun Pongsak Plaives thanked for the meeting and has expressed his hope that all the radio stations will improve their broadcasting standards.
