Nine persons have applied to be member of the Election Committee of the Kui Buri District. A vote took place and eight persons were selected as second stage candidates. From the eight candidates Provincial Election Committee will select final four persons which will be in the Election Committee of the Kui Buri District. Khun Sirichai Wiriyapong has announced that last month at fifteen villages election of local mayor took place and there were no problems thanks to overseeing role of the Election Committee for that area. Pol. Lt Col. Chareon Uchuparb, lawyer officer, said in the pass there were many frauds with voting, because certain people would sell and buy votes. Now election officials organize meetings with villagers and explain to them the election rules. They make clear to them that selling and buying votes is a crime and persons committing this crime can end up in jail. Chief Provincial Public Prosecutor Khun Somjet Srisuppatpong has thanked everybody for coming to the meeting and for carrying out the selection process for the Election Committee of the Kui Buri District.
