Several months ago, Ministry of Justice has requested that all the courts introduce Conciliatory Committees to reduce number of civil & criminal cases going. Conciliatory Committee can deal with any lawsuits case as this is in line with the Ministry of Justice policy. Proficient Mediators should run 'Just Court' which would help reach a compromise in criminal or civil cases without the need for these cases to be heard in the Provincial Court. Once Conciliatory Committee’s mediators reach a compromise acceptable to both sides then the Chief Judge will present “Ong Jatikam ramdhep” to them. After presenting the prize, Chief Judge Khun Pralom Kashan said that Conciliatory Committees do very good job and are great help to the courts. There are now twenty Conciliatory Committees in Prachuab Khiri Khan Province. Conciliatory Committees were introduced recently and already they have very positive impact on the judicial system. Khun Pralom said that any accuser who was discredited during a court case will be automatically discredited in any future cases.
