Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has had about one and half hour audience with HM the King after which he has travelled straight back to Hua Hin Airport. President of Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Khun Tuck Dechapanya has presented to the Prime Minister copy of a local English newspaper Hua Hin Hotline in which there was information about preparations by Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association for the welcome of Asean leaders for the Asean summit which will take place in Hua Hin between 27 February 2009 and 01 March. Provincial Governor Khun Parnchai Borwornratanapran and other government officials have waited for the Prime Minister’s return to the airport. Governor Parnchai has presented the hamper basket to the Prime Minister and have walked with him to the Royal Thai Army Aircraft in which he has returned back to Bangkok. Chief Commander of Provincial Police Pol. Major General Roongros Saengkrarm was responsible for security during Prime Minister’s visit to Hua Hin. He has mobilized about four hundred policemen trained in crowd control in case there was a need to deal with Red Shirt protestors. But as it has happened none of the Red Shirts protesters have turned up in Hua Hin and Prime Minister’s visit to Hua Hin went very smoothly.
