Khun Supathana Wangwong-Wathana said that the project to collect aluminium and make peg legs has been initiated by HM the King. Recycling of aluminium will reduce the amount of aluminium going to a landfill and at the same time will protect environment. This project has been supported by Royal Princess Kulayani-wathana’s Foundation. Royal Princess Kulayani-Wathana was helping disable people for many years. Khun Wiwathana Nitikarn has thanked Hua Hin Chief District Officer Khun Prasit Boonlikit, Hua Hin Mayor Khun Jira Pongpaibul and all guests present for their support for this project. He said that this is a very important project which will benefit disabled people in Thailand. By recycling aluminium and donating to the peg leg project a lot of money can be safe this way.

On Saturday 12 July 2008 at the Market Village Hua Hin District, Prachuapkhirikhan Province, the Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment has announced recycling of aluminium project to make the Peg Legs. The project is lead together by Khun Supathana Wangwong-Wathana, a director-general of Natural Resource and Environment and Khun Wiwathana Nitikarn Secretary of Minister of Natural Resource & Environment.
