Hua Hin Town is famous for a source of sea shells, located not so far from Bangkok. With this fact, Hua Hin Market Village Shopping Center is going to hold “Shell Eating Festival” under cooperation of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Prachuap Khirikhan Office, Hua Hin Municipality, Bangkok Shells Museum, leading hotels and resorts in Hua Hin and Cha-Am and Pranburi as well as other food and decoration made of shells entrepreneurs. This festival is expected to promote local tourism and its vicinity by providing foods mainly made of shells by professional chefs with special price, home decoration from shells, fashion show from shells, shell and other marine animal ice engraving. The festival will be held during July 16-19, 2009 at Center Court, G Floor, 10.30-21.00.
