The cleaning operation took about two hours and rubbish from the area around the fishing pier were collected and loaded on the truck. Municipality staff has provided cakes and soft drink for everybody taking part in the clean up action. Vice Mayor Khun Suvit Rienroongrueng has thanked students for their hard work and for their support to the local community. He said that the whole area now looks clean and local residents are very happy.

On Sunday 01 February 2009 in the afternoon 200 students from HM the King Rama V College helped with cleaning of fishing pier and adjacent area. In the cleaning operation took part also Hua Hin Municipality staff and members of Samorrieng community.
