The boats leave from a jetty near the temple and there is good fishing to be had in the river. This pleasant boat trip journeys along the canal for 3-4 km and visitors can see various species of birds and trees which fringe the banks. The best time for this trip is in the early morning or late afternoon (about 4-5 pm.). Boat trips through parts of the National Park leave from a jetty near the temple and there is good fishing to be had in the river.
