Most movies will be screened at the Major Cineplex in Hua Hin. Other activities are planned at the Vic Hua Hin theater. More than 50 films are being programmed, including Hollywood, European and Asian titles. There will also be an emphasis on Southeast Asian films. There will be a retrospective of films at the Vic Hua Hin theater and outdoor screenings of classic Thai movies starring the likes of Petchara Chaowarat and Mitr Chaibancha. During the film festivals there will be seminars by leading academics and film industry professionals, nightly activities at Centennial Park, live music performances and a closing ceremony featuring an awards presentation. Organizers also plan to display an exhibition of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej‘s photographs. The Hua Hin International Film Festival will bring together artists from all walks of the movie industry.
